Hm, there are indeed several crashes in the Krita log. Two kinds, one more
prevalent and seems to be relevant;

There is a few other different crashes. However this one seems the most
relevant. It is weird though because it happened on at least three versions:
5.1.5, 5.2.0 and also that mentioned bug-free 4.4.3.

@Zhizhek could you please provide a more recent Krita log file?
