DESCRIPTION
When triggering the screen locker a noticable brief period of time is spent on
a black screen before the lockscreen appears.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock the screen (e.g. Meta + L)
OBSERVED RESULT
The screen turns black with only a mouse cursor visible for roughly a second,
and only then the lockscreen appears.
EXPECTED RESULT
For the lockscreen to appear immediately and seamlessly.

Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): Arch Linux
