STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings -> Appearance & Style -> Animations
2. Make sure global animation speed is not set to "Instant" so the options
below aren't grayed out
3. Then have "Peek at desktop" animation set to either option besides None
4. Set global animation speed to Instant (that makes the problem obvious)
5. Use the Peek at Desktop widget
OBSERVED RESULT
The selected animation for peeking at desktop plays at normal speed contrary to
the global animation speed setting.
EXPECTED RESULT
For the animation to speed up/slow down/be skipped according to the global
animation speed.

Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): Arch Linux
