It's just barely possible to make out the text when mousing over menu items (because they highlight with a light gray background, behind the white text), but the rendering is clearly wrong. This was true in 25.08 as well. There are a few other instances of non-dark-mode rendering. For example, the About KDE Connect window is rendered in dark mode everywhere EXCEPT its scrollbar, which is clearly using a light-mode palette. (And I think I read another report that it can happen with SMS windows as well?
