DESCRIPTION
Is there a way in KDE Plasma to disable the audible volume-change feedback
sound only while media is actively playing, while keeping the audible feedback
enabled when no media is playing or when playback is paused?
Currently, KDE Plasma provides an option under Settings → Sound → Configure
Volume Controls (or through the audio applet) to enable audible feedback
whenever the volume level changes. However, when adjusting the volume during
music or video playback, the notification sound ("ding" or "ting") plays over
the media and disrupts the listening experience. I'm looking for a way to have
the audible volume feedback play only when no media is playing, while keeping
it silent during active media playback.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Na.
2.
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
Audible feedback when changing volume while a media is playing
EXPECTED RESULT
No audible feedback when changing volume (Show the volume change OSD Only) and
a media is playing but keep it enabled when no media is playing (OSD + Audible
Feedback)
