Bug ID: 521576
Summary: Can't always reject a game controller via Steam to
control mouse and keyboard input
Classification: Plasma
Product: kwin
Version First master
Reported In:
Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: input

Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
I just got the new Steam Controller and when I try to use it outside Steam
client it shows me a dialog box (kwin_eis_prompt - a more user friendly
name/title could be displayed :) ) asking me if I allow Steam to control mouse
and keyboard input. There is a checkbox to always allow this, and two buttons
to Reject and to Allow it. What I miss is the option to Always reject this. I
think it would be nicer if the existing Always checkbox applied to both
available options via buttons. This way it would allow it to remember to always
reject or always allow for some specific application.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use Steam Controller via Steam outside the Steam Client for the first time
2. A dialog is opend asking to allow Steam to control keyboard/mouse input
OBSERVED RESULT
You can only select to always allow this
EXPECTED RESULT
There should be a possibility to always reject it.
