            Bug ID: 521611
Summary: Buttons on some styluses can't be re-assigned to other
                    functions on Plasma Wayland
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

On certain model/make styluses, one of the buttons defaults to an eraser and
cannot be re-assigned to anything else. This is true, for example, on Dell
styluses, as well as the all Xencelabs models. This has been a detriment to
productivity and has been preventing many pro users from switching over to
Plasma Wayland from the beginning.

It would be good if the interface for Drawing Tablet gave the ability to write
custom .tablet files, and store them locally in the user account. The ability
to completely map buttons, tips, and erasers are essential for pro users.

I would be willing to provide any information on my end to help make Drawing
Tablet features complete for Plasma Wayland.

This bug holds true on ALL current Linux distros, no matter the kernel.
