            Bug ID: 521781
Summary: Wayland cursor slowly drifts upward on Plasma 6.7
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.7.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: core
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
After updating to Plasma 6.7, the mouse cursor slowly drifts upward on the
Wayland session.
This does not happen on X11.

  STEPS TO REPRODUCE
  1. Boot into Plasma 6.7 Wayland on my laptop.
  2. Log in.
  3. Use the system normally until the issue occurs (within the first minute).
  4. Observe the cursor slowly moving upward.

  EXPECTED RESULT
The cursor should stay still unless I move a pointing device.

  ACTUAL RESULT
The cursor slowly drifts upward on its own. When moving the mouse, I can
still slow down how fast it rises, or even get it to go down, but it steadily
keeps going up regardless.

  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  - Switching to an X11 session avoids the problem.
  - This started after updating to Plasma 6.7.
  - Disconnecting the mouse and plugging it in again fixes it, but within a
minute, the problem came back.
