DESCRIPTION
When I launch KiCad and open either the schematic editor or PCB editor with
hardware acceleration enabled, KWin crashes and restarts immediately, taking
the entire desktop environment down with it. This issue does not occur when
using the software renderer; however, KiCad’s software renderer suffers from
severe functional defects and is unusable.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. download KiCad 10.0.4-1
2. open it and create a new project
3. open the designer
OBSERVED RESULT
KWin crashes.
EXPECTED RESULT
things work normally.
