Reported In:
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

Target Milestone: ---
Application: kalendarac (6.7.2)
ApplicationNotResponding [ANR]: false
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Operating System: Linux 7.0.13-200.fc44.x86_64 x86_64
Windowing System: Wayland
Distribution: "Fedora Linux 44 (KDE Plasma Desktop Edition)"
DrKonqi: 6.7.0 [CoredumpBackend]
-- Information about the crash:
I logged into to Plasma 6.7.0 on Wayland in a Fedora 44 KDE installation. A
crash notification was shown for Reminders or kalendarac about 10 s after
Plasma started. Reminders or kalendarac crashed with the error "malloc():
unaligned tcache chunk detected" according to the trace which might indicate
memory corruption. This was the first crash of kalendarc I've seen with this
type of trace. akonadi_control.service timed out when starting Plasma with
errors in the journal
systemd[1675]: akonadi_control.service: start operation timed out. Terminating.
systemd[1675]: akonadi_control.service: Failed with result 'timeout'.
systemd[1675]: Failed to start akonadi_control.service - Akonadi Control
akonadi_control.service then restarted, and the crash happened several seconds
after that.
I've seen kalendarac crash with different traces <10% of times I've started
Plasma as I reported at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=519668
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=519504

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=521888
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=521931 kalendarac was from
akonadi-calendar-26.04.2-1.fc44.x86_64.
The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
