            Bug ID: 522158
Summary: Search suggestions are getting worse
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: krunner
      Version First 6.7.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected], [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION

Whatever you are doing to krunner results it's getting so bad that I'm actively
looking for a replacement now.

To access ANY "Desktop Session" action (Shutdown, Restart, Log Out...) you have
to spell out 100% of the word. Want to shut down? Type S-H-U-T-D-O-W-N and only
then, the action appears in the list. So not only it doesn't appear earlier
somewhere else in the list, you literally have to spell it out completely.

This is terrible. Any fzf anywhere else (terminal `fzf`, neovim `mini.picker`
everywhere I get the 95% results with 3 keystrokes. Krunner was not this bad
before 6.1. I complained about it in
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=491564

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Krunner => Settings => History => "Enable suggestions"
2. Krunner => Settings => Configure Enabled Search Plugins =>
Favorite Plugins: 1. Desktop Sessions (I even have it on top here) 2.
Applications, 3. Power
Other __enabled__ plugins: Calculator, Command line, Dictionary, Spell
checker, System settings, Unit converter and Windows.
3. Launch krunner and try to reach the actions Shut Down, Restart, Log out
4. Observe that you need to spell it out in full

OBSERVED RESULT

Desktop session actions don't show up until completely spelled out.

EXPECTED RESULT

I type "re" and "Restart" appears as 1st result.
