            Bug ID: 522320
Summary: Quick-tiled windows lose window position when moved
                    between virtual desktops
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.7.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Quick Tiling
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
When moving a quick-tiled window between virtual desktops, the window will
"jump" back to its original position (when it first launched, before tiling).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a new window, e.g. Konsole. Observe its location.
2. Quick-tile the window, e.g. to the left half of the monitor.
3. Use a keyboard shortcut to trigger "Window One Desktop to the Left" (or
right)

Note: If you tile it to a different monitor in step 2 to the one where it was
launched, it will also jump monitors.

OBSERVED RESULT
The window will jump back to the monitor/position/size at which it was
originally opened.

EXPECTED RESULT
I'd expect the window to remain in the same tiled location, but on the next
desktop.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.27.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is not new in 6.7.1, I just waited to report it because I heard 6.7 was
going to improve multi-monitor behaviour. That's a red herring, I removed my
second monitor and this bug is also present in a single-monitor configuration.
