So far, we have only reports from Arch-based distributions (including Cachy and KDE Linux). AIUI it's not clear what caused this - the Cachyos reddit thread and another post by the Cachyos founder seem to think it's a xkeyboard-config package upgrade at fault, but Wismill in another bug here couldn't think of how the new xkeyboard-config update could have caused this.
