            Bug ID: 522375
           Summary: Task Manager Freezing Unexpectedly
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First master
       Reported In:
          Platform: Ubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager widgets
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

I wish I could be more precise about this; I am a novice Linux user, but the
Task Manager 4.0 on Plasma will unexpectedly freeze up, displaying a frozen
clock widget and I can no longer interact with my running apps in the taskbar.
Apps that were running when the taskbar freezes just stay stuck on the taskbar,
even if I close them. I can click to maximize/minimize running apps by clicking
aimlessly in the taskbar. The clock freezes and after a while I realize it's
much later than I thought. This is pretty much a daily occurance at this point,
and I have no idea what causes it, but some ideas are if I'm running my PC for
more than a few hours straight (for some reason that seems to cause a lot of
bugs), or when I open/close certain high-memory usage apps (like Krita for
instance. I'm a digital artist). So, I really have no idea how to reproduce
this, and the only way to resolve it is to simply reboot the machine.
