Also if I start with "--fullscreen" there is no hang. I'm not sure why there is a hang in my regular session. With full screen the session itself (any window in it) becomes sluggish while the launcher is running, the mouse pointer also feel sluggish (just like my regular session, before I started seeing the hangs).
