DESCRIPTION
I have an AMD Graphics card 9070XT and an Intel Graphics card A770 the System
Monitor Widget doesn't show usage of the Intel Card, I also tried it with an
intel Arc 310 to the same result. The usage statistics for the intel cards do
show in System Monitor when I have the actual app open, but not the widget. The
widget will show everything about AMD graphics card even when there as many as
3 of them (I don't have a way to try more than 3.)
I have reinstalled Linux and KDE Plasma, and have been unable to get the usage
of Intel cards to show in the widget.
I don't really have a way to test this without an AMD graphics card because it
detects my onboard graphics, so this could just be a quirk of having and AMD
and an Intel card installed at once, but I thought it was interesting enough to
say something.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add System Monitor Widget to pannel
2. Add sensor for Usage or VRAM on the Intel Graphics card
3. Watch numbers remain at 0.
OBSERVED RESULT
The usage % and VRAM used both remain at 0 in both the widget and the Overview
section of System Monitor, however in the Applications and Processes sections
you can see usage attributed to the Intel Video card.
EXPECTED RESULT
Hopefully this mean someone just forgot to tell the overview to do math and
it's an easy fix, but it's over my head and seems like a pretty low priority
thing so, I hope it gets fixed.
