--- Comment #3 from zosima <[email protected]> --- Data point: the leak recurred on my machine with pam-kwallet6 downgraded to 6.6.4 (retracting the mitigation I reported earlier on this bug and bug 522307). Different trigger shape this time - kwalletd6 was D-Bus-activated by a client 65 min after login (not at login), and RSS growth began immediately on activation. Leak rate was far higher than in my original report: each kwalletd6 instance grew from ~60MB to 2.3-4.2GB in ~2-3 minutes (vs ~28MB/min previously), across 6 consecutive dbus-respawned instances (a >2GB watchdog killed each one), and the loop stopped permanently only when a pending Secret Service prompt was cancelled. Full timeline, journal correlates, and the prompt-path analysis in my comment today on bug 522307. Versions at episode time: kf6-kwallet-6.27.0-1.fc44, pam-kwallet-6.6.4-1.fc44, Fedora 44, Plasma Wayland. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
