            Bug ID: 522670
Summary: Max volume bell plays when increasing volume using
wireless Logitech G733 headset volume controls even
                    when not at max volume
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.7.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: CachyOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Audio Volume widget
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

DESCRIPTION
When using the volume controls on my wireless Logitech G733 headset to increase
the volume, it plays a double bell notification sound every time I increase the
volume. Until the recent update, this sound was only used when the volume was
increased to 100%, now it plays for every volume increase and it overlaps with
the standard KDE volume change sound effect.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect wireless Logitech G733 headset (may occur with other headsets as
well, unknown)
2. Change current audio device to Logitech G733 headset using the plasma volume
widget
3. Increase the volume using the controls on the Logitech G733 headset (but not
to maximum)

OBSERVED RESULT
A double bell sound will play after increasing volume

EXPECTED RESULT
The double bell sound only plays as a warning when reaching max volume
This was the previous behavior before the recent 6.7.2 update

KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.2 (Wayland)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
