# PC
Ryzen 9700X
NVIDIA 4070 Super

# OS
- Arch Linux
- linux 7.1.2.arch3-1 and linux-cachyos 7.1.3-1
- KDE
- SDDM: Silent SDDM
- I always use my NVIDIA graphics card

# Steps
1. I updated my operating system on July 4
2. On July 5, I logged into my PC as usual
3. I use SILENT SDDM (this SDDM hasn’t been updated for about two months)
4. When I turn on the PC, I can see my SDDM, enter my password, and the screen
goes black; the monitor displays its native “No Signal Display Port” message
5. I restarted the computer. I also have Hyperland installed, but I haven’t
used it in over a year; however, when I log in through SDDM, I get a display
and it works perfectly
6. I turned the PC off and back on. This time, I disconnected the DisplayPort
from the graphics card and connected it to the CPU’s video output; I logged
into my KDE session and had video
7. I tried different Arch kernels and CachyOS; the problem is the same
