A screen recording showing the phantom window
DESCRIPTION
Since Plasma 6.7.0 (and still in 6.7.2), an invisible window appears in
Workspace 1 with invisible window decorations. This window isn't in any other
Workspace, just Workspace 1, and it is always maximized. It seems like the
window doesn't have anything other than a title bar? It also doesn't appear in
the overview. You can drag it from the invisible title bar, but not with `Meta
+ drag`, so I'm pretty sure the window only has a title bar.
Inside Kwin debug console, I found two instances of KWin::LayerShellV1Window.
Maybe that has something to do with this.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log in to a Plasma Wayland session
2. Go to Workspace 1
3. Try and drag from the very top of the screen or hover over the top-right
corner for window controls
OBSERVED RESULT
Every single time upon logging in, a phantom window appears maximized, with its
contents non-existent and an invisible title bar.
EXPECTED RESULT
No phantom window should be there.
