I'm not able to reproduce this in Plasma built from git-master or Plasma 6.7.1 on Solus. For files like this, I see the shellscript icon in Dolphin: xdg-mime query filetype bash_t_test.sh application/x-shellscript When i create a bash file via nvim on command line, it automatically has the mimetype application/x-shellscript , not text/x-shellscript How are you creating the bash file?
