Clear Steps to Reproduce
- Connect a laptop and an external monitor
- Set the laptop monitor as the Primary display in System Settings.
- Switch to "External Screen Only", turning off the laptop screen).
- Switch back to "Extend" (dual monitor / right) mode.
Expected Result
The laptop monitor should retain its assignment as the Primary monitor.
Actual Result
The external monitor becomes the primary monitor automatically, forgetting the
laptop's primary designation.
