            Bug ID: 522881
Summary: KDE Connect reports missing krdc package when
                    connecting a virtual display
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdeconnect
      Version First 26.04.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Manjaro
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: common
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Desktop PC: Kernel: 6.18.38-1-MANJARO arch: x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: KDE Plasma v: 6.6.6 Distro: Manjaro Linux

Laptop: Kernel: 6.18.38-1-MANJARO arch: x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: KDE Plasma v: 6.6.6 Distro: Manjaro Linux

When I try to use the laptop as an external display, KDE Connect complains
about a missing krdc package, even though it is installed on both computers.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on "virtual display" (Desktop to Laptop)
2. Error messages appear (translated from german): "No VNC or RDP client (e.g.,
krdc) is installed on the remote device.
The “krdc” package is required on the local device.
No request can be initiated without resolution."

Actual Results:
No connection to virtual display. krdc and krfb packages are installed on both
computers.

Expected Results:
Connection to virtual display on laptop from desktop PC.
