            Bug ID: 522938
Summary: Improve calendar keyboard navigation with arrow keys
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First master
       Reported In:
          Platform: Kubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Digital Clock widget
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

DESCRIPTION

It would be great if, when using the arrow keys, I could hold the shift key (or
some other modifier key) to keep the focus within the calendar. Then I could
easily see the date that's six weeks from today by holding shift and pushing
the down arrow six times.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click the time/date to make the calendar appear
2. Click today's date
3. Push the down arrow (either by itself or with a modifier key) six times to
try to see what the date is in six weeks from today

OBSERVED RESULT

When it's to the point where it should be going into the next month, nothing
happens.

EXPECTED RESULT

When it's to the point where it should be going into the next month, it should
go into the next month.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window):
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a feature I'm used to from Windows. I imagine I'm not the only one.
Implementing this feature would be very much appreciated by me and probably
others too and would help people who are making the switch from Windows to
Linux.
