Overview element, missing the right-click menu from application launcher
DESCRIPTION
In KDE Plasma's Overview search, typing an application name (e.g., Ghostty)
lists search results.
However, right-clicking on these results does nothing.
In KRunner or the Application Launcher (Kickoff), right-clicking the same
search result opens a context menu with actions like "New Window", "Add to
Favorites", "Add to Desktop", "Edit Application...", etc.
I would like to report this as an inconsistency/bug, where KRunner search
results look identical but have different capabilities depending on whether
they are accessed via KRunner directly or inside the Overview effect.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the Overview effect (e.g., press Meta+W).
2. Type the name of an application (e.g., Ghostty) in the search box.
3. Right-click on the application search result.
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens. No context menu is displayed, and KRunner actions (like "New
Window", "Add to Favorites", "Edit Application...") are completely
inaccessible.
EXPECTED RESULT
A right-click context menu should appear displaying the KRunner actions,
matching the behavior of search results in KRunner (Alt+Space) and the
Application Launcher (Kickoff).
