I tried to reproduce this, but it doesn't happen on the latest git version of
kate. I tested with a script which had a shebang (#!/bin/bash) but no .sh
extension and kate correctly recognizes the file as "Bash".

But on Arch Linux specifically the file doesn't get recognized as Bash. Then I
tested on Fedora 44, but there the file was correctly recognized as Bash.

At first I thought it was a framework level bug since Arch has KDE Frameworks
v6.27.0 and Fedora 44 has v6.28.0.
But then I tested with Fedora 43 which does have Frameworks v6.27.0 . Which
means it's probably an Arch specific bug.
