Bug ID: 523036
Summary: Subpixel layout is not rotated along with the screen
Classification: Plasma
Product: kwin
Version First 6.7.2
Reported In:
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
E.g. when you rotate an RGB screen 90° clockwise, the subpixels become VRGB;
rotating them 90° counterclockwise changes the layout to VBGR; and an 180°
rotation either way makes it look like BGR.
Also KWin doesn't seem to have different subpixel settings for each screen, so
if you have two monitors with different subpixel layouts, you have to choose
which one will have fringes and which one will look alright.
