Bug ID: 523049
Summary: Kleopatra Default color scheme does not display
properly with OS "Dark Style" turned on
Classification: I don't know
Product: kde
Version First unspecified
Reported In:
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
when my OS is set to "Dark Style" and Kleopatra's color scheme is set to
default, it turns mostly dark as intended, but many buttons remain white
despite the text inside them turning white to accomodate the dark setting. this
makes many buttons virtually unreadable and essentially forces the user to use
the Breeze Light color scheme, which can be really unpleasant especially if
using the program late at night with a low screen brightness and all other
programs cooperating with the OS's dark mode. This issue also seems to happen
if "Breeze Dark" is selected regardless of whether or not the OS is in dark
mode.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Kleopatra
2. change OS display settings to "Dark Style"
(alternate)
1. open Kleopatra
2. select color scheme -> "Breeze Dark"
OBSERVED RESULT
multiple buttons white with white text which are nearly illegible
EXPECTED RESULT
buttons that better fit the dark color scheme with easily readable text
