A selection of the 'None' Splash Screen in System Settings is reset to an
actual splash screen on regular basis during the installation of system
updates. Presumably at every upgrade of Plasma. Happens every ~1-2 months in
practice for me.
Expected: A deliberate choice of the 'None' splash screen should be retained
and not reset by installing system upgrades.
Versions at the time of writing, where it just happened for me again the other
day:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.28.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Potentially related: I experience a similar issue with the Virtual Keyboard
