DESCRIPTION
Browsers (Firefox and Edge) flicker on white backgrounds (brighter-dimmer).
This does not occur in other programs. This also did not occur in Fedora 43
(and possibly Plasma 6.6.x). This flickering begins immediately after startup
(not only after returning from suspend).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use Plasma in a Wayland session on an external display (2k Asus connected
via HDMI). Thinkpad 480 display is turned off.
OBSERVED RESULT
White elements of browser (page background, address bar, etc.) flicker between
brighter and dimmer ("white" and "gray").
EXPECTED RESULT
No flickering
WORKAROUND
Turn off hardware acceleration in browser.

KWIN_DRM_NO_DIRECT_SCANOUT=1 + KWIN_DRM_DISABLE_BUFFER_READABILITY_CHECKS=1

Use Plasma X11 session
