DESCRIPTION
GTK2 applications (or X11 applications) do not respond to right-click in the
Plasma system tray.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open GTK2 (or X11) applications, such as Hexchat and Pidgin or aMSN.
2. The application either shows the system tray, or doesn't show it at all.
3. When you right-click or left-click on the system tray, HexChat or Pidgin
does not respond to the right‑click action on the tray icon, but the
application itself is running normally.
4.In XFCE, after performing steps 1 through 3, right-clicking on the XFCE
system tray will correctly bring up the system tray menu for GTK2 applications.
OBSERVED RESULT
Right-clicking on the a GTK2 application tray icon is unresponsive, but the
application itself is running normally.
EXPECTED RESULT
Right-clicking on the system tray icon of a GTK2 (or X11) application can
normally bring up the tray context menu.
