Summary: Visual artifact occurs when the notification is
                    positioned directly over desktop
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First 6.7.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: compositing
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION

The visual artifact (stale/unpainted damage region) only occurs when the
notification is positioned directly over the empty desktop background
(wallpaper). It does not happen when the notification overlays an active
application window (e.g. Dolphin).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open file transfer notification (make sure it's on bottom, you have to test
with top as well)
2. Click detail to expand the overlay notification window (make sure it's over
desktop, not other application window)
3. Collapse the detail, visual artefacts are shown above the notification
window, damage region is incorrectly intersect, I guess. If you move mouse
cursor over it, it's repainted.

OBSERVED RESULT
Visual artefacts above notification window

EXPECTED RESULT
No visual artefacts around notification window at all
