Maik Qualmann <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Maik Qualmann <[email protected]> --- Note that the face metadata standard does not provide for hierarchical assignments of face names. To enable digiKam to handle these assignments, face names must be stored in hierarchical tag metadata—such as the digiKam tags list or the Lightroom hierarchical metadata entry; the `dc.subject` field is unsuitable for this purpose. If images lack this hierarchical entry, digiKam cannot unambiguously assign the face when reading the metadata. Furthermore, a single incorrect assignment of a face name results in that incorrect name being used in the future. Clean up the metadata for the incorrectly assigned images and ensure that you write hierarchical tags and—in digiKam's advanced metadata settings—configure the application to read from them first.
