--- Comment #4 from Répási Dávid <[email protected]> --- A further idea: On first opening a more well known link type, the system could bring up a dialogue window where it asks whether the user wants the link to open in the default browser, or a dedicated app, widening the reach of how many users see this feature on a day-to-day usage. I say "well known" so plasma wouldn't have to ship with a bunch of url strings. If the link doesn't have an app installed, this dialogue window could also offer to download/ search for one that can associate/open said link(s), using discover for example.
