However, these would need to be supported in a very careful way — likely a bespoke implementation for each one, or going through a common spec for them. It wouldn't take the form of "allow an app to register itself to show anything above the lock screen." That's a no-go, sorry. What is actionable is a series of individual major projects, too large for a bug report to encompass, unfortunately.
