      Version First 6.7.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: wayland-generic
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
The session freezes soon after login for up to a minute.
Only the mouse can move.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use Debian 14 (AKA the 'testing' repository.
Install all the updates, especially the ones that cam in today.

OBSERVED RESULT
After logging in ,nothing can be click as everything is frozen.
The CPU widget that I have in the task bar is frozen at different levels, but
maximum that I saw it was 30%.
Sometimes I can click on its widget and get the tooltip before freezing.

If I Hover over the desktop icons, task bar or click on items, nothing happens,
but the clicks are recorded as when the freeze stops, everything opens at once.

EXPECTED RESULT
Everything to work normally, like before

KDE Frameworks Version: 6.28.0

Qt Version: 6.10.2
Graphics Platform: Wayland

Mesa Version: 26.1.5-1
Kernel Version: 7.1.7+deb14-amd64 (64-bit)

HARDWARE
Dell Inspiron 5770 laptop with:
CPU: Intel Core i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz (4 cores, 8 threads)
RAM: 8 GiB
GPU 1: Intel UHD 620
GPU 2: AMD Radeon R5 M465

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The strange behavior started today after I installed the updates and rebooted.
>From the updates list I think there were some about qml-something.
And the strangest was for this package:
https://flathub.org/en/apps/org.torproject.torbrowser-launcher
As it has it required new permissions, which were KDE related and maybe menu
related
I think I saw something like: org, kde, menu OR launcher
I don't remember other things.
It would've been nice if Discover had an updates log feature to should
previously installed ones.
Luckily that this time, the froze was not so absolute like in the past so the
mouse was moving, the logout screen was appearing on pressing ESC or
CTRL+ALT+F1 and the virtual terminal was appearing too on CTRL+ALT+F2

Please let me know where to look and what commands to run, if you need some
kind of logs as I don't know where to get them!
