This issue occurs starting with kernel 7.0.0.28; even after an update that
included kernel 7.0.0.29, the error is still present.
I restarted the environment with kernel 7.0.0.27, and everything works as
expected.
Here are the environments:

Operating System: Kubuntu 26.04 LTS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
Kernel Version: 7.0.0-27-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-4300M CPU @ 2.60GHz
Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.5 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: Intel® HD Graphics 4600
Manufacturer: FUJITSU
Product Name: LIFEBOOK E754
System Version: 10601583226
