DESCRIPTION
Two related issues with the translation workflow in Lokalize:
1) The toolbar button "Approve and go to next" (or similar) does not function
as expected. When clicked, it approves the current translation but does not
automatically advance to the next untranslated or fuzzy string.
2) The dropdown menu labeled "Approved" (or "Status") offers multiple options,
but regardless of which option is selected, the resulting action is the same:
it toggles the translation status between "Needs review" and "Ready". This
makes the dropdown menu confusing and redundant.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a .po file with multiple untranslated or fuzzy strings in Lokalize.
2. Select a translation unit that requires approval.
3. Click the toolbar button "Approve and go to next" (or the equivalent
icon/action).
OBSERVED RESULT
The current translation is approved, but the focus does not move to the next
translation unit. The user is forced to manually navigate to the next string.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE (for the dropdown menu)
Open a .po file in Lokalize.
Locate the dropdown menu labeled "Approved" (or "Status") in the toolbar.
Select any of the available options from the dropdown (e.g., "Approved", "Needs
work", etc.).
OBSERVED RESULT
Regardless of the option selected, the action performed is the same: the status
of the current translation unit toggles between "Needs review" and "Ready". The
dropdown does not offer distinct actions.
EXPECTED RESULT
1. The "Approve and go to next" button should approve the current translation
and automatically advance to the next translation unit that requires attention
(e.g., untranslated or fuzzy).
2. The dropdown menu should be simplified to a single toggle button (e.g., a
button that switches between "Ready" and "Needs review") to avoid confusion.
The current multi-option dropdown is redundant and misleading.
