I have a commit on top of it that keeps the lock screen visible while the session is being remotely controlled (authenticated fake input, or a live EIS context), which is the flexibility mentioned in this report: https://invent.kde.org/kacperpaczos/kwin/-/commit/d92e881d0a5c83283944256e3e55b15cd6a04256.
