kwin!9246 hides the lock screen from screencasts, but stalled on the remote
desktop case. I have a commit on top of it that keeps the lock screen visible
while the session is being remotely controlled (authenticated fake input, or a
live EIS context), which is the flexibility mentioned in this report:

It is coarse — while any remote session is active, every stream shows the lock
screen — but it needs no portal or protocol work.
