DESCRIPTION
I have use gpg4win / kleopatra on windows OS since several years ago. and after
updating the latest version 5.1.0, I can't decrypt file that use same public
pgp key that I already have. the pop up for passphrase is shown, and after that
there is information, output folder to current path
decrypted and verified 'xxxxx_file.zip.gpg" as 'xxxx_file.zip'
recipients : - my name < my email> (certified, openpgp, created : 1/19/2010)
- one unknown recipient
signature created on 9/2/2026 2:46 PM using an unknown certificate with
fingerprint.....
and there button save all and discard. after click the button save all, there
is no file decrypted. so I try to open terminal and try to use command prompt :
gpg --decrypt xx_file.zip.gpg > file.zip. and the output is the file.zip is
present, but can't open it.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. right click on the file
2. choose decrypt / decrypt and verify
3. input passphrase
4. click button save all -> the decrypted file is not present
OBSERVED RESULT
5. open terminal / command prompt
6. type : gpg --decrypt encryptedfile.zip.gpg > file.zip
7. the file.zip present but can't open.
EXPECTED RESULT
the command prompt or GUI windows application should decrypt file and give
output file
