This is something that has > been fixed (at least for some cases) before. > - browsers and PWAs having *correctly separate icons*, but being grouped > together by the task manager (see > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497548) I'm having this issue on KDE Plasma 6.3.6 on Wayland, specifically where PWAs DO have their own icons in the task switcher (Alt+Tab menu), but are incorrectly grouped under the web browser's icon, even when there is no ordinary web browser window open. I'm testing with Todoist's PWA installed through Chromium. I have Todoist pinned to an icons-only task manager on the very end, with Chromium just to the left of it. With everything installed as default, clicking on the Todoist icon highlights it and displays the loading logo, then the Chromium icon is highlighted as the Todoist logo goes back to its normal state. The Chromium icon now behaves exactly as if there are just multiple Chromium windows open, even showing the Todoist window in the hover preview thing. If I use KDE Menu Editor to add `--ozone-platform=wayland` to both Chromium and Todoist's command line arguments, I get very odd behaviour when opening the PWA. When Chromium is OPEN and I click the Todoist icon in the panel's task manager, the Todoist icon briefly shows the loading icon then completely disappears from the panel, and the Chromium icon adds the little plus icon signifying multiple open windows. If Chromium is CLOSED and I open Todoist, it does the loading icon while it launches but the Todoist icon is replaced with the Chromium icon (so I have two different Chromium icons in the task manager). Then after the Todoist icon finishes loading (while looking like the Chromium icon), the *other* Chromium (the real one) is actually replaced with the Todoist icon. So the two icons have swapped places, and the Chromium icon is the one highlighted while the Todoist one appears closed. Hovering over the incorrectly positioned and apparently closed Todoist icon briefly shows the "Todoist" tooltip before the icons snap back to their correct locations. Both Chromium and Todoist retain their correct icons in the task switcher (Alt+Tab) menu at all times, though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
