mydarkstar <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|KWalletManager window is |System Settings unable to |unresponsive; System |fetch Wi-Fi credentials |Settings can't seem to |("Security: None", "No |fetch Wi-Fi credentials |agents were available for | |this request") --- Comment #1 from mydarkstar <[email protected]> --- Well, I'm not sure what I did, but KWalletManager magically works again while I was trying to gather more information for this report. :^) So I assume that was a separate issue. My apologies. This bug report will solely focus on *System Settings not being able to fetch Wi-Fi network credentials*, despite the NetworkManager Applet being able to connect to the same networks. ---- # DESCRIPTION A.) Connecting to Wi-Fi networks works fine, but System Settings shows "Security: None" for all entries and a sometimes notification stating "No agents were available for this request." B.) In System Settings, right-clicking an existing connection shows a greyed out "Connect" action in the context menu. However, connecting via the Applet works fine. NetworkManager entries also appear to be fully in-tact. C.) Clicking "Configure" in the Applet on a *currently connected* Wi-Fi network shows the password in System Settings again, along with: "Security: WPA3 Personal". But other (currently *not connected*) entries continue to show "Security: None". # ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * `nmcli connection show` shows all connections in-tact. * nmcli shows Wi-Fi details correctly: > $ nmcli -f > connection.id,802-11-wireless-security.key-mgmt,802-11-wireless-security.psk-flags > connection show "[redacted wifi name]" > connection.id: [redacted wifi name] > 802-11-wireless-security.key-mgmt: wpa-psk > 802-11-wireless-security.psk-flags: 1 (agent-owned) * KWalletManager shows me the corresponding passwords saved in my user's wallet. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
