DESCRIPTION
Emoji Selector window appears with a significant delay.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make sure the Emoji Selector window is closed
2. Press the shortcut (or chose it from the menu) in order to activate it
OBSERVED RESULT
It takes an observable amount of time (more than 1s...) to display the window.
EXPECTED RESULT
The window should have appeared instantaneously (as it did before some recent
update(s))

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Display uses only the Intel board, NVIDIA is used for math. NVIDIA was added to
the system long time ago and it has valid running drivers; the system has been
working in this configuration for a long time.
It used to work up until last month or so and a recent update broke things;
more importantly, the CopyQ clipboard manager authors are fighting what looks
like a similar type of bug: https://github.com/hluk/CopyQ/issues/3634
