TITLE
Discover about to break full system by installing flatpak update never involved
in system's package manager
DESCRIPTION
Discover lists update for a flatpak package that includes system applications
installed via standard debian package manager.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
PRECONDITION
1. Install Discover and flatpak and snap extensions. Reload app database.
2. Run Discover.
ACTION
1. Check Updates "Aktualisierungen" view.
OBSERVED RESULT
1. Discover update lists flatpak "freedesktop-sdk" update. But I have never
installed freedesktop-sdk as a flatpak package. All apps and libs inside this
package are installed via standard apt, but apt does not list these apps and
libs for an update.
EXPECTED RESULT
1. Discover update list should only contain packages that are installed by
system's package management (apt) or flatpak or snap. Flatpak and snap should
only be shown for overlying apps that got all other remaining packages wrapped
into the flatpak/snap package, i.e. there should never be an update for lib
that is part of a flatpak UNLESS the WHOLE overying app is updated.
In case here it is not clear to which flatpak freedesktop-sdk actually belongs.
It should never be listed here for an update, only if the application package
that is actually containing freedesktop-sdk is updated anyway.
