Nate Graham <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] Resolution|--- |INTENTIONAL Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #4 from Nate Graham <[email protected]> --- I agree with David; still too niche, sorry. I don't believe you that you actually want to sit around looking at a dimmed screen! :P And if I'm wrong and you really do, then maybe you can instead help triage KDE bug reports with your large amount of free time? :D As for OLED support, if the problem is the screen not dimming or turning off due to an app inhibiting it, and you want to preserve the screen's usable life, then you should do one of the following: 1. Quit the app that's inhibiting sleep app 2. Ask the app's developer to not inhibit sleep, if this isn't actually necessary 3. Block the app from inhibiting sleep using the Power & Battery widget 4. Manually put the laptop to sleep when you walk away from it 5. Close the laptop's lid when you walk away from it Modern OLED panels are really good though. Burn in isn't a real problem even with like 16 hours of use every day for years. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
