So should not be just hardware / firmware problem. If I understand anything. Also for further reference for anybody interested: - When flicker was most powerful, it was visible on whole screen, not only on edges. - Flicker is really a fleeting issue. I have not seen it today... Other issues persist. (Might be related to the fact that battery was almost empty when booting, and I have now used with power cord.) Apparently bug status has been changed to resolved downstream, whatever that means, as there is no more explanation here at the moment. I have to say, 525538 and 523281 have steps I could replicate, if this needs further testing. But not today. Also will try 6.7.6 or 6.8 when I have time. (Not 100 % sure, but it seems that brightness level set on live-f42 is stored and kept for normal f44 session.
