Payload" tab
Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
Product: Akonadi

DESCRIPTION
In Akonadi Console, when opening the "Raw Payload" tab in the "Browser", it
does not use the correct text encoding when displaying the vcard. The "Payload"
tab does use the correct encoding, but the "Raw Payload" interprets characters
incorrectly.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new calendar item (in KOrganizer or anything else) with an accented
character in the description/summary/location (e.g. "é")
2. Open Akonadi Console
3. Open the "Browser" tab on the top
4. Select the collection the calendar item is in
5. Select the item within the collection
6. Select the "Raw Payload" tab for the item
OBSERVED RESULT
"é" is shown instead of the "é" character
EXPECTED RESULT
The "é" character is shown
