Screenshot showing the broken checkbox behavior. As seen in the image, the
checkbox contains a solid, oversized square that bleeds out of the element
borders instead of a standard checkmark icon.
DESCRIPTION
Checkbox selection indicator is oversized and displays as a large square
instead of a checkmark when using the Breeze Union global theme.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Apply the "Breeze Union" global theme/look and feel.
2. Set display resolution to Full HD (1920x1080) and test with fractional
scaling between 85% and 100%.
3. Open any system settings page or native application containing checkboxes.
4. Toggle a checkbox.
OBSERVED RESULT
The selection indicator inside the checkbox is excessively large. Instead of a
normal checkmark, a giant, oversized square occupies the checkbox area. The
issue persists across both 100% and 85% display scaling.
EXPECTED RESULT
The checkbox should display a standard, properly scaled checkmark icon that
fits within the checkbox borders regardless of the scaling factor.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 45
KDE Plasma Version: 6.8.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.30.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2
Kernel Version: 7.2.7-300.fc45.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
NVIDIA-SMI 615.71.09 KMD Version: 615.71.09 CUDA UMD Version:
13.4
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This visual regression appears specifically when using the Breeze Union
decoration/theme on a Full HD monitor. Scaling the interface down to 85% or
keeping it at 100% does not resolve the rendering glitch.
