Can confirm on a different setup:

Operating System: Nobara Linux 44 (KDE Plasma Desktop Edition)
Kernel: 7.2.6-201.nobara.fc44.x86_64
KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.29.0
Qt Version: 6.11.2
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, driver 595.99.02 (open kernel modules, GSP on)
No integrated GPU (Ryzen 7 5700X), so this is not multi-GPU related.
Displays: DP-3 2560x1440@180Hz (primary), HDMI-A-1 2560x1440@60Hz,
DP-2 1080x1920@60Hz (portrait). VRR off on all outputs.

Opening Overview (Meta+W) and closing it drops animations on the 180Hz output
to ~60 FPS (window open/close, minimize/maximize, launcher). In my case,
directly dragging windows still feels smooth at 180Hz; the timed animations
are what stay capped. Logging out and back in restores 180Hz; opening Overview
again reproduces it immediately.

Each time Overview opens, KWin logs:
kwin_wayland: Could not delete render time query because no context is
current

GPU clocks are locked at P0 (nvidia-smi -lgc/-lmc) while this happens, and the
output mode remains 2560x1440@180 according to kscreen-doctor.

Since this reproduces on both the 610 proprietary driver (with GSP disabled)
and the 595 open modules, on different GPUs, and with and without an iGPU,
it seems independent of driver branch, GSP, and multi-GPU setups.
