--- Comment #22 from Branislav Klocok <[email protected]> --- This still happens on Plasma 6.7.5, and on different hardware. I replaced the laptop since my earlier comments. It is now a TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro AMD Gen10 with AMD Radeon graphics, where before I had a ThinkPad X1 Carbon with Intel graphics. Different vendor, different GPU, different internal panel, and the external monitor now enumerates as DP-10 rather than DP-4. The state at the moment of failure is the same as in comment 17: DP-10 enabled, connected, priority 1 eDP-1 enabled, connected, priority 1 Plasma ordered the internal display as screen 0 and the external as screen 1, with the panel on screen 0. The panel containment still has lastScreen=0, and there is no [ScreenConnectors] section. This morning I suspended at home, worked on the laptop alone in a meeting room, suspended again, and then docked at my desk. The tie was already there when I docked, and KWin had written it to kwinoutputconfig.json at that moment. One thing from this machine may be useful. Its config is new and holds only nine setups, so the good and the bad case sit next to each other. The setup for this external monitor with the lid open has both outputs at priority 1. The setup for the same monitor with the lid closed is correct. The setup for my other dock with the lid open is also correct, with the internal display at priority 2. So within one file a lid-open setup carries the tie while a structurally identical lid-open setup for the other dock does not. I am aware neither merge request is merged yet, so I am not reporting this as a fix that did not work. It is another machine and a newer Plasma showing the same thing. The config is attached. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
